Momentum Logistics, in collaboration with the Government of Punjab, has undertaken a significant initiative to support wheat farmers by improving post-harvest storage and financial access.

Through the Electronic Warehouse Receipt (EWR) system, farmers can store their wheat free of cost in secure and professionally managed facilities. Upon storage, they receive an EWR, which can be used to obtain interest-free financing from banks — allowing them to avoid distress selling at harvest time.

Momentum Logistics provides the warehousing infrastructure and operational expertise required to implement this system effectively. The initiative helps reduce post-harvest losses, improve farmer income stability, and strengthen the overall wheat supply chain in Pakistan.
